THE Holmland herd of pedigree Holsteins was dispersed at Beeston Castle on Tuesday on behalf of Stephen, Patricia and Craig Bell, Penrith, Cumbria.

Trade peaked at 14,500gns for Holmland Goldwyn Adeen. November 2009-born, by Braedale Goldwyn out of Lavenham Adeen, she sold in a three-way split to Richaven Holsteins, Ashlea Holsteins and Absolute Genetics.
At 11,000gns was Holmland Goldwyn Rose, another Goldwyn daughter, out of Ridgefield Talent Rose. The buyer was Messrs Gould, Shrewsbury for their Woodmarsh herd.
